How it works
- Stand it: open your foldable iPhone about halfway and set it on a table like a small laptop. The flame appears on the raised half.
- Dim it: open it wider to stoke the flame, fold it to bring it down to a low glow.
- Close it: the light goes out on the front screen, which stays awake. Swipe up to bring it back.
- Any other iPhone, the front screen, or fully open: slide up or down from the middle of the screen to set the light and the sound, all the way down to black.
- Change the mood: tap anywhere to show the menu and pick a scene in the column (or slide your finger along it), or swipe left or right. Tap again to hide the menu; it also hides by itself after a few seconds.
Frequently asked
Swiping up takes me to the Home Screen. Start your swipe from the middle of the screen: a swipe from the bottom edge always belongs to iOS.
The screen stays on. Is that normal? Yes, while Mood Tent is open. Turn off Keep Screen On in Settings, or lock your iPhone.
No sound? The Candle scene is silent on purpose: pick another mood to hear it. Sound plays even when your iPhone is on silent and mixes with music already playing; check the Sound switch in Settings. On the inner screen it follows the hinge, so it fades out as you close the device.
Notifications light up the screen. Turn on Do Not Disturb in Control Center (Focus).
Where is the tutorial? Settings › Tutorial.
Which iPhone do I need? Any iPhone with iOS 27.1 or later. The hinge dimmer needs a foldable iPhone.
